 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

A weak trough of low pressure is forecast to slide from the

Ohio River Valley to the waters off the Middle Atlantic Coast by

tonight. A cold front is then expected to drop southward

through our area late tonight. High pressure will approach and

eventually build off shore Wednesday through Friday. A cold

front approaching from the west is expected to arrive over the

weekend. High pressure moves in late in the weekend/early next

week.

SW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt.

Seas 2 to 4 ft. A chance of showers late.

 

TONIGHT

SW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming

W 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas around 3 ft. S swell around

2 ft at 6 seconds after midnight. Showers likely with a chance of

tstms in the evening, then a chance of showers after midnight.

 

WED

N winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to

3 ft. S swell 2 to 3 ft at 5 seconds.

 

WED NIGHT

NE winds 5 to 10 kt, increasing to 10 to 15 kt after

midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. S swell around 2 ft at 5 seconds.

37’ - 40’ outbound from Marcus Hook (anchorage or berth)
