.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

High pressure extending from the northern Great Plains to the

Middle Atlantic States early this morning will continue to

influence our weather today. A weak wave of low pressure is

forecast to slide from the Ohio River Valley to the waters off

the Middle Atlantic Coast on Tuesday and Tuesday night. A cold

front is then expected to drop southward through our area late

on Tuesday night. High pressure is anticipated to follow for

Wednesday. The high is forecast to pass off the coast around

southern New England and Long Island on Thursday but it should

continue to bring dry weather to our region into Friday. A cold

front approaching from the west is expected to arrive over the

weekend.
