TO 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt

  expected.

* WHERE...Coastal waters from Great Egg Inlet to Cape May NJ out

  20 nm, Coastal waters from Cape May NJ to Cape Henlopen DE out

  20 nm and Coastal waters from Cape Henlopen to Fenwick Island

  DE out 20 nm.

* WHEN...From 11 AM this morning to 7 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller

vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

A developing area of weak low pressure will slide by south of

the region this morning and offshore into the afternoon bringing

chances for showers. High pressure builds in Wednesday and

Thursday before shifting offshore into Friday, providing fair

weather and increasing temperatures through the end of the week.

Moisture from another storm system to our west may move into

the area over the weekend with increasing chances for showers

through Monday.

 SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING

NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt.

Seas 2 to 3 ft. S swell around 2 ft at 5 seconds, becoming NE

2 to 4 ft at 4 seconds this afternoon. A chance of showers late

this morning, then showers likely early this afternoon. A chance

of showers late.

 

TONIGHT

NE winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt,

diminishing to 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. NE

swell 2 to 4 ft at 5 seconds.

 

WED

E winds around 5 kt, becoming SE in the afternoon. Seas

2 to 3 ft. E swell 2 to 3 ft at 6 seconds.
