.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

Broad low pressure will continue to drift southeastward across

the Northeastern states today. The system is then forecast to

move out to sea on Thursday and Friday. High pressure is

expected to build into our region from the northwest and north

for the weekend and the early part of the new week. A cold front

may approach from the north on Tuesday.

THIS AFTERNOON

W winds around 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. S swell

around 2 ft at 6 seconds. Showers likely. A chance of tstms late.

TONIGHT

NW winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt after

midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft. W swell 2 to 3 ft at 5 seconds. A

chance of showers and tstms in the evening.

THU

NW winds 15 to 20 kt, becoming N 10 to 15 kt in the

afternoon. Seas 2 to 3 ft. N swell up to 4 ft at 4 seconds. A

chance of showers in the afternoon.

THU NIGHT

E winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW after midnight. Seas

2 to 3 ft. N swell up to 4 ft at 8 seconds after midnight.

FRI

NW winds around 5 kt, becoming E in the afternoon. Seas

2 to 4 ft. NE swell up to 4 ft at 8 seconds.

SE winds around 5 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. NE swell up to

3 ft at 8 seconds.

NE winds around 5 kt, becoming SE in the afternoon, then

becoming S in the evening, becoming W after midnight. Seas 2 to

3 ft.

NW winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW in the afternoon and

evening, then becoming W after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft.

- Vessels may sail from Paulsboro 1 hour before low water up until 3 hours after low water at Marcus Hook.

37’ - 40’ outbound from Marcus Hook (anchorage or berth)
