.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

High pressure located in the middle Mississippi River Valley

early this morning will progress to the east. The center of the

high is forecast to pass off the Middle Atlantic Coast on

Tuesday night. A cold front is expected to approach from the

northwest on Wednesday and it should move through our region on

Wednesday night. High pressure is anticipated to follow for

Thursday. Low pressure is forecast to pass off the North

Carolina Coast on Friday or Friday night. A broad area of low

pressure is then expected to approach our region from the west

and southwest over the weekend.

2 to 3 ft. E swell around 2 ft at 9 seconds.

NW winds around 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. E swell around 2 ft

at 8 seconds.
