* WHERE...Coastal waters from Cape May NJ to Cape Henlopen DE

  out 20 nm and Coastal waters from Cape Henlopen to Fenwick

  Island DE out 20 nm.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 6 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller

vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

Low pressure will lift north into Quebec through today as a

cold front pushes offshore and out to sea. Cooler, drier, and

breezy conditions will prevail in the wake of the cold front

today through Wednesday as high pressure settles to the south of

the region. High pressure will settle eastward across the

western Atlantic by the middle of the week resulting in

increasing temperatures across the Mid-Atlantic. Another low

pressure and frontal system is anticipated to impact the area by

Saturday with increasing chances for showers over the weekend.

TUESDAY AFTERNOON

W winds 10 to 15 kt, becoming SW late. Seas 2 to 3 ft. S

swell 2 to 3 ft at 5 seconds. Isolated showers early this

morning. Patchy fog early this morning with vsby 1 to 3 NM.

TONIGHT

W winds around 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. S swell 2 to

3 ft at 6 seconds, becoming W at 5 seconds after midnight.

TUE

W winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 2 to

4 ft. W swell 2 to 4 ft at 4 seconds.

TUE NIGHT

NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. NW swell

around 2 ft at 3 seconds.

WED

NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to

3 ft. NW swell around 2 ft at 3 seconds, becoming SE at 5 seconds

in the afternoon.

SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. S swell 2 to

- Vessels may sail from Paulsboro 1 hour before low water up until 3 hours after low water at Marcus Hook.

37’ - 40’ outbound from Marcus Hook (anchorage or berth)

- Please use reference station Marcus Hook.
