<span-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black;mso-fareast-language:EN-US">With up to 28 Delaware River Main Channel closures, the Silver Run Project will affect operations for everyone on the river for as long as two months. Vessel traffic will be delayed both ways, and tide-constrained vessels may be more impacted. Considering the highly technical nature of burying the cables 25 feet below the river bottom and the complexity of the entire operation, planning and preparedness are key to mitigate impacts. The Silver Run Project involves the burial of seven power cables in the river bottom across Baker Range and will include up to 28 interruptions of traffic in the main channel.
