There was a fire and explosion at the PES Girard Point Refinery on the Schuylkill River this morning

USCG has advised verbally that traffic north of the Platt Bridge on the Schuylkill was suspended for some time

 

USCG advises that the restrictions are now lifted on the Schuylkill , traffic back to normal

 

There is no further information regarding the terminal at this time

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...

 A cold front will pass through the region later today. High

pressure builds in from the north and west this weekend, and moves

offshore on Sunday. A warm front lifts north through the region

Sunday night through Monday morning. Low pressure slowly works its

way through the region during the mid-week period, then high

pressure returns late next week.
