The Maritime Exchange is forwarding the following dredging information from the U.S. Coast for your information:

MSIB 44-18 Dredge New York Hydraulic Hammer Operations

Beginning November 8, 2018 and continuing through approximately November 30, 2018, the dredge NEW YORK will be conducting hydraulic hammer operations in and around Marcus Hook Range. Operations will take place 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Vessels wishing to transit in the vicinity of the dredge NEW YORK should contact the dredge at least 1 hour prior to arrival, and again 30 minutes prior to arrival in order to arrange safe passage. The dredge can be contacted via VHF-FM Channel 13 or 16.

 High pressure will gradually build into the region today before

moving across to the north of our area tonight. An area of low

pressure will develop off of the southeast coast late Wednesday,

then track up along the Mid Atlantic coast Thursday and Thursday

night before moving into New England on Friday. High pressure will

then return Friday night through the weekend.

9 seconds.

NE winds 10 to 15 kt, increasing to 15 to 20 kt late.

Gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Swell mainly from the SE with

a dominant period of 9 seconds.  A chance of rain late.

E winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt, increasing to

30 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft dominant

period 9 seconds, building to 8 to 11 ft dominant period

8 seconds. Rain.

THU NIGHT

E winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt, becoming

SE 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt after midnight, then

becoming W 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt late. Seas 9 to

12 ft dominant period 11 seconds. Rain.

FRI

NW winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt. Seas 6 to

9 ft, subsiding to 4 to 7 ft in the afternoon. Rain likely in the

morning.

FRI NIGHT

NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas

3 to 5 ft.

SAT

NW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.

SAT NIGHT

NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

N winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming W in the afternoon. Seas
