The Captain of the Port, Delaware Bay, issued MSIB 34-18 (Update 1) notifying mariners of two objects reported just outside the main navigational channel of the Mifflin Range, within the boundaries of Mantua Creek Anchorage #9 on the
Mariners are advised to use extreme caution when transiting this portion of Mantua Creek Anchorage as some depths at mean low low water could be hazardous to navigation. Vessels drafting over 30 feet should avoid this area and transit
around the objects.

.SYNOPSIS FOR THE COASTAL WATERS FROM SANDY HOOK NJ TO FENWICK
ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
A strong cold front will cross the region today, interacting with
the remnants of Tropical Storm Michael as it accelerates
northeastward and off the Mid-Atlantic coast late tonight into
Friday morning. High pressure will then build in from the west later
on Saturday, moving offshore on Sunday. Another cold front will
cross the region on Monday followed by high pressure returning for
Tuesday. Another frontal system may arrive by next Wednesday.

6 ft. Swell mainly from the E with a dominant period of
8 seconds. A chance of showers early this morning, then showers
likely with a slight chance of tstms late this morning and early
afternoon. Showers with a chance of tstms late. Vsby 1 to 3 NM
this morning, then 1 to 3 NM late.
S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming E
5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 25 kt late in the evening, then
becoming N 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt after midnight.
Seas 4 to 7 ft. Swell mainly from the SE with a dominant period
of 9 seconds. Showers with a chance of tstms in the evening, then
showers after midnight. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
NW winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt, diminishing
to 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt late. Seas 5 to 8 ft,
subsiding to 4 to 6 ft in the afternoon. Swell mainly from the SE
with a dominant period of 10 seconds. A chance of showers in the
NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt,
diminishing to 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt in the late
evening and overnight. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Swell mainly from the SE
with a dominant period of 9 seconds.
NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas around
N winds around 10 kt. Seas around 3 ft in the
evening, then 2 ft or less.
N winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SW in the afternoon. Seas
