The Captain of the Port, Delaware Bay, issued MSIB 34-18 (Update 1) notifying mariners of two objects reported just outside the main navigational channel of the Mifflin Range, within the boundaries of Mantua Creek Anchorage #9 on the
Mariners are advised to use extreme caution when transiting this portion of Mantua Creek Anchorage as some depths at mean low low water could be hazardous to navigation. Vessels drafting over 30 feet should avoid this area and transit
around the objects.

ISLAND DE AND FOR DELAWARE BAY...
High pressure will remain centered offshore today into tonight. A
strong cold front will then arrive later Thursday, which will
interact with the remnants of Hurricane Michael as it accelerates
northeastward and off the Mid-Atlantic coast later Thursday night
and Friday morning. High pressure then builds in later Saturday
before shifting offshore during Sunday. The next cold front should
arrive later Monday followed by weak high pressure on Tuesday.

S winds around 5 kt, increasing to around 10 kt this
afternoon. Seas around 3 ft. Swell mainly from the E with a
dominant period of 8 seconds. A slight chance of showers this
S winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to
4 ft. Swell mainly from the SE with a dominant period of
9 seconds. A chance of showers late.
S winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 4 to
6 ft. Swell mainly from the E with a dominant period of
9 seconds. Showers. Vsby 1 to 3 NM.
SW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 25 kt,
diminishing to 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 20 kt late in the
evening, then becoming W after midnight, becoming N 20 to 25 kt
with gusts up to 35 kt late. Seas 4 to 6 ft. Swell mainly from
the SE with a dominant period of 8 seconds. Showers. Vsby 1 to
NW winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt. Seas 5 to
8 ft. Showers, mainly in the morning with vsby 1 to 3 NM.
NW winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas
4 to 7 ft, subsiding to 3 to 5 ft after midnight.
NW winds around 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
N winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas around 3 ft in the
evening, then 2 ft or less.
NE winds 5 to 10 kt, becoming SE in the afternoon. Seas
2 ft or less.
S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas around 3 ft.
