The Maritime Exchange is forwarding the following MSIB from the United States Coast Guard for your information.

MSIB 24-18 DIVING OPERATION IN MARCUS HOOK ANCHORAGE (CHANGE 3)

The Captain of the Port (COTP), Delaware Bay, is notifying mariners that Commerce Construction will be conducting surveying and diving operations in Marcus Hook Anchorage No. 7 on the Delaware River, beginning on April 30, 2018 through June 30, 2018.

 A warm front will move through the northern Mid-Atlantic today, and

a cold front will progress through the area tonight. Strong high

pressure will build into the eastern U.S. Thursday through the

weekend.

4 ft. Swell mainly from the E with a dominant period of

7 seconds.  A chance of showers early this morning, then isolated

showers late this morning.

W winds around 15 kt. Gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 4

ft. Swell mainly from the SE with a dominant period of 7 seconds.

Scattered showers and tstms in the late evening and early morning.

W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 3 to

4 ft. Swell mainly from the SE with a dominant period of

6 seconds.

 

THU NIGHT

NW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas
