Synopsis: High pressure will influence our weather today. A weak warm front forms tonight along the mid Atlantic coast. Tropical Storm Gert is expected to pass well to our southeast and east on Tuesday and Tuesday night. A frontal boundary is anticipated to arrive from the north during the mid week period, then retreat north by Friday. Eventually this front should move off the mid Atlantic coast during this weekend.

E winds around 5 kt, increasing to 5 to 10 kt with gusts up to 15 kt this afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less, then around 3 ft early this afternoon. Mainly in SE swell with a dominant period of 8 seconds. a slight chance of showers late.

E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas around 3 ft. Mainly in SE swell with a dominant period of 8 seconds.

Tue

E winds around 5 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Mainly in SE swell with a dominant period of 10 seconds. a chance of showers until late afternoon.

Tue Night

SE winds around 5 kt, becoming W after midnight. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Mainly in SE swell with a dominant period of 12 seconds.

NW winds around 5 kt, becoming SW in the afternoon. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
